Hand Embroidered Sachet
I’ve made about just 150 pieces of potpourri sachet to be given as wedding favours for special guests. Special guests here are referring to friends, close relatives and guests from the groom’s side. It took me about a month just to finish the embroidery and a week to finish up the sachet. I have used voile to make the sachet and the DMC stranded cotton floss for the embroidery. The card..
This wed card is like partially handmade because of the pressed flowers that I did it myself.. I have used the “ forget me not” so that it would bring something significant.. brings meaning .. especially to my long lost friends and I really hope that they would keep it as momento. Forget me not comes in pink and purple in colour .. it dried beautifully with the colour a lil bit faded off. It took me about a month to settle with the pressed flowers …
Oh! I almost forgotten that I have a BLOG ! hahaa .. I’ve been busy .. really2 busy with preparations. Its been almost a week since my Big day.. and the tiring days, months,.. are oveeeeeeeeeeeer ! Now, the new chapter of my life has begun… being a WIFE to my husband .. (I know that its not easy as it sounds but please God, give me the strength and the faith.. make me become a good wife and can bear the responsibility, amin).
A bit info of my wed: My big day was held at my house, in a very simple ceremony.. that was what I wanted it to be.. I tried to make it as simple as possible but memorable .. (the most important thing !!). Almost all things I’ve done it myself, with the help of my sisters a bit .. from the wedding favours, to the bridal bouquet ! I was really exhausted, you know !! Lots lots of preparations and good planning is a must !! I planned it rather late, though … well supposely at least 6 months before your wedding, you should have the major details out of the way. I think, 6 months is ok if the wedding is going to be a simple one .. and 9 months preparations of very big ones ! As for me, I decided everything by december ( my big day was held on 6/6/09 ). 5 months werent enoughh !! agghh .. but I did make research and so and so .. since last year !
If you are planning to get married .. the most important thing to get started is: Set your budget first ! Not only plan the budget of your wedding.. but the budget including the money that you need for your new house as well ! Dont be like me guys.. I spent lots of money buying make ups and stuffs .. ahaha.. MAC makes me poor and crazzzyy ! :p
I satisfied though, I managed to go through all that with patience and everyone was happy during the day 
Oh.. and I did my own make up for two sessions and I received great compliments from lots of people .. oh yeaaahh !! im so happy with that ..
I was searching for a limited edition brush from Mac which is #165 ! The brush was released few months ago if im not mistaken .. its together with the Blonde, Brunette, Redhead Collections ! To be honest, Im a new Mac addict. So during the collections in the past few months ( In January) I wasnt into MAC yet, ! Till I found out that the MAC brushes are sooo great ! Since I didnt get the brush earlier, so I was searching for it on ebay, nordstorm etc. I think i’ve been searching for this brush for nearly two months ! I was kinda frustrated at first coz this brush is a limited edition and it was sold out within a day at local stores ! I read reviews and found out that so many MAC fans gave good compliments regarding #165. Its great for blushers, powders and nose contouring as well !

I searched on ebay, only got 1 or 2 lists of this brush.. still good news coz I could still buy it eventhough the price was quite high !! but unfortunately, it was only shipped to US !! I waited for a month till this ebay seller (Makeupemporium) had this on her ebay store !! I have been purchasing quite many stuff from this ebay seller, and Im very satisfied with it. No bad experience, so far ! I did survey and make comparison regarding the price and shipping costs among ebay sellers as well .. hmm so far i think this ebay store offers reasonable price and shipping costs ! The latest items that i bought from this seller are :
#165, #109 (coz it was sold out at local MAC stores) , and #242 .. also a MAC e/s which is the colour : cork

The #165 (face ) brush is like a larger version of #226 ( eye makeup brush), which is also a limited edition one and I got that brush from ebay as well ! I really love these brushes .. coz they are very soft and fluffy brush ..If im not mistaken from what i’ve read at www.temptalia.com , the #226 brush will be re-promote in the next limited edition collection, but im not sure what it is called.. maybe the colour craft collections (somewhere in July, in M’sia) .. I think the re-promotion of this brush is due to great demands and compliments !! yeaah I do agree of that.. and Im sure gonna grab another one soon !!!

I think this is the best makeup brushes holder which I think is smart and can be picked up easily… especially when you dont have so much time to do your make up !! The brushes which are organized in this compartment holder also can be sanitized easily. Just spray the alcohol all over.. before and after usage. Dont forget to clean up your brushes first after using it ( Especially your concealer and Foundation brushes ) ! I got this from IKEA store.. which consists of 3 cases per box.. for only rm25 if im not mistaken. These interior organisers are specially sized to fit the inside VATEERN wall cabinets and the lift out for easy excess. What a smart way to organize your toiletries !! Mm Love it so much.

This lipstick is already sold out in local MAC stores.. but can try search it on eBay. I also got it from there.. but the price is quite higher compared to the actual price. I love the colour coz its different from others but still it does not look weird on me.. the lavender colour is a kinda soft and pastel.. sometimes look a bit pinkish.. I usually apply it along with Lush N Lilac l/l and Ever So Rich l/g .. gorgeous colour !!

Im very excited over here.. Im looking forward to this collection to be launched here in Malaysia. Actually been waiting it for so long.. coz ya know.. the launching for every collection is a lil bit slow here. But that doesnt matter coz I got more times to review from other M.A.C fans from the other side of the world hehe.. its actually a good thing to do before we buy certain make up items so that it wont be such a waste of lotsa money, coz we tend to regret of what we purchased.. But I know some people… they do buy cosmetics as their collectible items ! Am I one of those people ?? Not yet I think ! hehe .. more…
